I love sales! Particularly ebook sales!

Since I buy so many books, particularly ebooks, I always feel the need to look for the best price and this weekend there have been sales abound for ebooks. So I figure I'd show you guys what I got, some of it is for the League of Reluctant Adults challenge and some of it is for fun since the books have been sitting on my to read shelf for a while. These books should keep me occupied for a couple weeks or so my bank account hopes. This is for the reading challenge -Once Bitten, Twice Shy by Jennifer Rardin (whenever I see this title I think of the Once Bitten, Twice Shy song by Great White - though I thought it was by Warrant) the Goodreads blurb is: I'm Jaz Parks. Pleasure Unbound by Larissa Ione This one has been on my shelves for a while and has gotten really good reviews so I'm looking forward to devouring..opps I mean reading it. This is another League read and also got a thumbs up from one of my fav book blogs smokin' hot books. I got a couple of books from Shiloh Walker that sound super sexy and are suppose to be loosely based on ideas from fairy tales. I've read one of her Hunter's series books and really liked it so I thought I would give something else by her a try. The book blurbs are below.

Next is a book from Bianca D'arc. I like her Vampire Tales/Tales of the Were books, the love scenes are steamy and well written and there is an overarching story plot that carries through all the books. Also the men are suitably alpha and sexy and the women are usually pretty tough too. The books are like a good piece of chocolate - sweet and hits the spot. The blurb for this one is:  Most lovers kiss. This one pounces. An Alpha Pantera Noir -- black panther shifter -- Cade operates on his immense skill, superior strength, and dominant personality. There's something about the small spitfire of a human woman named Elaine that threatens to bring him to his knees. This is a League Challenge book and I'm super excited to read it. I follow Mark Henry's blog and twitter posts and he is snarky and hilarious..I know that sounds kinda stalker-ish but since I have no plans to follow him home or profess undying love anytime soon I figure it's okay (we'll see what happens after I read the book..just kidding). Goodreads blurb: Seattle. One minute you're drinking a vanilla breve, the next, some creepy old dude is breathing on you, turning you into a zombie. And that's just for starters. Now, the recently deceased Amanda Feral is trying to make her way through Seattle's undead scene with style (mortuary-grade makeup, six-inch stilettos, Balenciaga handbag on sale) while satisfying her craving for human flesh (Don't judge. And no, not like chicken.) and decent vodkatinis.

Making her way through a dangerous world of cloud-doped bloodsuckers, reapers, horny and horned devils, werewolves, celebrities, and PR-obsessed shapeshifters--not to mention an extremely hot bartender named Ricardo--isn't easy. And the minute one of Amanda's undead friends disappears after texting the word, "help" (The undead--so dramatic!) she knows the afterlife is about to get really ugly.

Something sinister is at hand. Someone or something is hellbent on turning Seattle's undead underworld into a place of true terror. And this time, Amanda may meet a fate a lot worse than death..

And last but certainly not least of my purchases is Boneshaker by Cherie Priest. This is another Leaguer read and also a steampunk read. I'm interested in reading more of the steampunk genre so this will be my second foray into the genre (my first was Soulless by Gail Carriger which I loved). Goodreads blurb: In the early days of the Civil War, rumors of gold in the frozen Klondike brought hordes of newcomers to the Pacific Northwest.
